Section Leaders are volunteers who work with the operations team in poroviding a quality experience for our young people. The role includes:
Planning terms activities, supported by Operations team.
Engage Young People ensuring they have their say in activities run in the section.
Supervise Occasional Helpers and Young Leaders who support delivery of termly programme.
Training - For this role their will be mandatory training led by the Scout Association. In addition training and support on Group systems ie Programme planning toolkit and payment card will be provided by the Group Team Leader.
Requirements
You care for the welling being of young people and want to provide them with the best start in life.

About us
2nd Welling has been running engaging evenings for young people in the Bexley area since 1927 our group takes pride in helping young people to do what they do best and be kids. We now meet at St Johns Church in Welling where we are blessed with our own section of Woodland, during our weekly meetings we teach the young people about our natural world, give them skill for life such as first aid, team building, and work to boost their self confidence.
