Do you enjoying being in woodlands, being seranaded by the song of bird, and being involved in a project where you can see continuous improvement and provides a wholesome space for members of the community.

2nd Welling Scouts oversees a large outdoor learning space and manages the woodlands next to the church. There are various roles and ways to get involved with the 2nd Welling with regards to this role, and it's up to you if you would like to work with the Young People or stay completely separate and focus solely on the Gardening.

Below are some of the suggested Gardening roles, these are only suggestions so if you volunteer with us you can take on as much or little as you feel comfortable to commit.

Wildflower gardener - Planting and weeding and wildflower garden.
Pathway manager - Reestablishing the pathways that wind through the woodland and cutting back brambles to make pathway safe.
Outdoor space custdodian - varied role getting involved with all aspects of the outdoor space, doing bit of DIY (fixing store, painting benches), bit of weeding, and feeding into the direction of how the outdoor space can develop and grow.
Casual Gardener - You're happy to turn up on working days make friends, make new friends, and enjoy a well deserved cup of Tea and Peice of Cake.
